One of the most important aspects of this campaign is to demonstrate that these activists are not alone in their concern for our environment and the threat of climate change. The Defence Committee are a steering group of friends and family alongside people who have expertise in environmental legal defense, media work, climate change issues or threat of climate change for the UK. We aim to support the co-defendants on paper and in the media, as well as caring for their general well-being.
We believe that have this high profile support will build the profile of the trial and generate increasing recognition. The defence committee will speak to or be named in the press and push the main messages of supportIf you think have skills that could contribute to making this campaign happen, whether it’s legal expertise of your vegan cake baking skills, then please let us know!
